The operation steps for HIV saliva rapid test are very simple: collect saliva from the gum with a swab and test with special test strip. 20 minutes after testing the result is visible: if there is HIV antibody in saliva, there will be two purple lines for a valid test.
【Reference data】
Clinical study shows that, 349 cases of patients infected with HIV shows positive with this saliva HIV rapid test. In 513 cases of non-infected, one case shows positive. The specificity of this saliva HIV rapid test is 99.8% (512/513).
